Iceland Colleagues Become Singing Secret Santa For Action For Children On Giving Tuesday

December 10, 2021

The Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation (IFCF) is joining in with #GivingTuesday 2021 by becoming the lead partner for Action for Children’s annual Secret Santa campaign. The campaign enables people to donate a virtual gift to a vulnerable child at Christmas, such as a hot meal, pair of shoes or warm winter clothes.

To support the campaign and the thousands of children facing Christmas Day without a hot meal, a present or a safe place to sleep. IFCF is making all of Iceland’s 30,000 colleagues into Secret Santas, by donating £10 on behalf of each and every one to buy a much-needed gift. In total, the £300,000 donation will enable Action for Children to be a vital lifeline for children all across the UK.

Recognising this, Iceland colleagues have written and sung their own special Secret Santa Christmas Carol to the tune of The Twelve Days of Christmas to share what everyone of them becoming a Secret Santa will mean for vulnerable children all across the country this Christmas and encourage more people to get on board.
