Prostate Cancer UK – £1m donation milestone
December 28, 2018Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation has announced that donations to longstanding charity partner Prostate Cancer UK have reached the £1 million mark.
The partnership began in 2008 when leading men’s health charity, Prostate Cancer UK, was chosen as a beneficiary of Iceland’s Charity Golf Day, an annual fixture in the foundation’s fundraising calendar. The partnership has now been in place for ten years and the foundation’s latest donation of £137,000 takes the total amount to £1 million.
The foundation raises funds throughout the year, encouraging customers to support charitable causes which its people, customers and suppliers can relate to.
