Your wellbeing

At Iceland we care about our people and are committed to delivering a positive working environment that protects and looks after our colleagues’ physical and mental wellbeing.

We know that there may be times when our colleagues need a helping hand or an ear to listen so there are many ways for our people to find support, whatever they’re going through. Iceland’s ‘Your Wellbeing’ campaign showcases and signposts the support, benefits and services provided by Iceland to look after our colleagues’ wellbeing.

Finding support

Colleagues can always turn to their line managers or fellow team members for support, or seek advice from their Talking Shop Rep.

As a responsible employer, we are open and honest about our policies and all colleagues can access our policies on our intranet site.

Voice of the stores

Every colleague across the business has the opportunity to contact the Board of Directors via the Voice of the Stores email address. The initiative was launched in 2017 for colleagues to share brilliant business ideas or raise concerns directly with senior management.


All Iceland colleagues have access to retailTRUST, a charity that provides help and support for people working in retail.

Colleagues can contact the charity confidentially to receive help with legal or financial advice, counselling, help with stress, bereavement, relationships or career support.
