Iceland Service Award Winner: Sarah saves a life

Saving lives is all part of the day job for Sarah Bray from our Dunstable store!

When a customer’s young son started choking on a sweet in store, Sales Assistant Sarah calmly stepped in and performed the Heimlich manoeuvre after she and the customer failed to remove the sweet by patting the child’s back. The parent was distraught, so Sarah gave her a hug and made sure they were both OK before carrying on with the rest of her day!

Sarah was presented with an Iceland Service Award by her Regional Manager along with some well-earned shopping vouchers.
