Iceland Partners With Charities To Offer £240,000 Worth Of Store Vouchers To Lambeth Pensioners

December 13, 2021

Iceland has partnered with the Rothesay Foundation, the charitable arm of the UK’s largest specialist pensions insurer, and Age UK Lambeth to support 8,000 people in the Lambeth area who solely rely on the state pension over the festive period.

The Lambeth Winter Cheer campaign will provide any residents, who are living independently or with a carer and relying solely on a State Pension, with a £30 Iceland gift voucher to spend in one of seven local Iceland stores over this winter.

The pilot community campaign in the London borough of Lambeth is aimed at helping older people in the area who are managing on low incomes (state pension only) to enjoy the festive season.

During December, 8,000 eligible Lambeth residents will be able to access £240,000 worth of store credit (£30 each) that can be used to buy most products in store.

Eligible customers will be able to use the vouchers in the following Iceland stores:

  • Lower Marsh
  • Walworth
  • Camberwell
  • Stockwell
  • Brixton
  • Clapham
  • Streatham
  • Old Kent Food Warehouse

Eligible customers can apply for a voucher by ringing 020 3143 0125. Once validated, Age UK Lambeth will provide a Christmas card with the £30 voucher inside, to redeem in store
